Hi, I’m RACHEL.
I am a certified Rebirthing Breathwork Mastery Practitioner (RBM), trained with Alakh Analda and Eleanor Mann at The School of Breathwork.
My journey with Breathwork began when my partner and I first started speaking about having a baby. To my surprise, I noticed my body tense up whenever the conversation began. I withdrew and struggled to communicate what I was feeling. Deep down something in me was speaking loudly, but I couldn’t yet understand it.
Soon after, I began studying RBM. I felt my body slowly soften and open in a way that I never thought was possible. Breathwork created space for dialogue, healing and for the possibility of becoming a parent in a way that was true for us.
As a same sex couple, our path to parenthood looked very different to that of my parents and grandparents. I would be the first in my family to be a mother without birthing my child. Breathwork supported me to release the conditioning of old beliefs and embrace a new and exciting path for me to venture on.
“when an individual is safe enough, ready enough and supported enough they will release or resolve their blocks”
When my partner and I started breathing together, we had a new found space inside us to have deep, open conversations about how conception would look like for us. We found clarity together and everything began to align.
That experience changed everything for me and us as a couple. Breathwork isn’t just something to turn to when you have a specific challenge- it has become a lifelong practice. It supports me daily, helping me stay open, connected and regulated as I navigate parenting, relationships and life.
This personal transformation is why I feel so strongly about supporting others on their journey to parenthood- especially those navigating IVF or alternate conception paths.
Using your breath and body to support parents release limiting beliefs, dissolve misconceptions of what ‘family’ should look like, and create a strong, loving foundation where both parents and children can thrive.
